Una Army Rotc Commissions 11 Graduating Cadets

FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama Army ROTC program honored 11 graduating cadets at its spring 2012 commissioning ceremony May 11 in the Guillot University Center performance center. Rebecca Green, human resource technician with the UNA Army ROTC program, said this year's ceremony featured the most commissioned cadets at one time since spring of 1992. The following graduating cadets were recognized at the ceremony: Jessica A. Addison, a public relations major, of Florence. Adjutant General's Corp - AL National Guard Thomas D. Beukema, a history major, of Savannah, Tenn. Infantry - AL National Guard Jeffrey C. Franks, a criminal justice major, of Double Springs. Military Police - AL National Guard Joey J. Frasemer, a sociology major, of Tuscumbia. Military Intelligence - AL National Guard Brett C. Henderson, a geography major, of Moulton. Engineer - USAR Joseph R. McGee, a criminal justice major, of Florence. Quartermaster - Active Duty Omar A. Sharif, a computer information systems major, of Florence. Infantry - Active Duty Robert M. Surgeon, a criminal justice major, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. Adjutant General's Corp - TN National Guard James K.
