FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama next week will bring to campus its second of two finalists for the position of vice president for university advancement. Dr. Jeff Lorber, of Carbondale, Ill., will interview on campus Sept. 3-5. As a part of the interview process, the university will host a public forum with Lorber Sept. 4, 2:30 p.m., in the Guillot University Center Banquet Hall A. Lorber currently serves as associate vice chancellor for institutional advancement and executive director of development for the SIU Foundation at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He had previously served as vice chancellor for university advancement for Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Ind.; director of development for the College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville; director of university development for Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill.; director of major gifts for Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind.; director of major gifts for the University of Northern Iowa Foundation in Cedar Falls, Iowa; and assistant director of development for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis.
