10 Students Awarded Keller Key at December Commencement

FLORENCE, AL – Ten graduates from the December commencement ceremonies at the University of North Alabama were honored as part of the event as recipients of the Keller Key. The Keller Key is awarded at each commencement to graduating seniors who have achieved the highest scholastic achievement. Recipients of this award are selected by a committee of faculty, staff, and students.
“This is a significant accomplishment for these graduates, and the Keller Key represents the highest achievement a student can attain academically,” said Dr. Ross Alexander, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. “It is an acknowledgement of the uncommon dedication and work these students exhibited throughout their educational careers at UNA.”
Dr. Alexander presented the Keller Key to the recipients during commencement. The Keller Key winners are:
- Patrick Allen Crummie, of Russellville, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies. On a scale of 4.00, his grade point average is 4.00.
- Makenna M. Giles, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
- Darby F. Holt, of Lexington, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
- Audrey Grisham Johnson, of Marietta, Ga., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mass Communications and History. On a 4.00 scale, her grade point average is 4.00.
- Sara Michelle Mann, of Fayetteville, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Sociology. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
- Meleah Ellen Orr, of Franklin, Tenn., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
- Callie S. Phillips, of Tupelo, Miss., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Communication Arts. On a scale of 4.00. her grade point average is 4.00.
- Daniel L. Ruts, of Florence, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. On a scale of 4.00, his grade point average is 4.00.
- Emily G. Seymore, of Arley, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Elementary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average if 4.00.
- Grace Leigh Waldrop, of Muscle Shoals, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Elementary Education. On a scale of 4.00, her grade point average is 4.00.
